Foot soaking ? How it helped me so much !!

This is about my experience when I started Sahaja yoga, I was told by Yogi to have regular foot soaks every evening . If possible in the morning before meditation for a minimum 3 months to feel and see the change in my being. When I heard of this idea, I was like…will this work and I mean why should I do it ? But then I was a seeker and wanted to try Sahaja Yoga earnestly so I tried. I did Footsoaking seriously every morning and evening before meditation, the results were truly scientific as it did help me change so much especially my inner biology in way that left me amazed. Those days you could not just come for a Puja and needed to be regularly coming to the center as well as doing your own footsook and meditation at home. After may be year of this process of Footsoaking as regime in my life and meditating at home, I got invited for the first puja which was Shri Maha Saraswati puja in Mumbai it was such a deep and blissful feeling that all the hardwork during the year was worth it.

I was in complete blissful silence in the ocean of vibrations. This experience and feeling that went through was so nice that I felt from my heart that everyone should have it. Sahaja is not an outward moment as much as it is inside us and we forget that sometimes. To remind myself I continue to doing the same thing that I did in the beginning of Sahaja yoga but as time pass you don’t feel same again as if one aspect of yam and niyam is done and you have to move towards the Sadhana and Samadhi stage for a deeper and more blissful experience. I wanted to share through this blog that please start with one chakra at a time, work on the mooladhara for sometime …feel your Ganesh principal and make sure it is established within. Then move to the second chakra and further to the other chakras . It’s like taking a baby step since Sahaja Yoga is such a vast ocean of knowledge that it does take time to learn new things, adopt them and feel the experience .But with sincerity and pure desire we keep improving as time goes by. Hope this helps some of the new Yogis to settle in Sahaja yoga and establish their own ascent and Yoga 🙂
